Julien Airault was born in 1979, and began his evolution for arts and creativity from graphic design. Having foundations in this area, his interest for art became stronger soon after with the practice of watercolour.
His work is associated with the “lyrical abstraction movement,” which is mainly represented in the second half of the 20th Century, heavily established in the Chinese artistic scene. His influences belong to Zao Wou-ki and Chu Teh Chun’s artistic spheres.
Four years of an incredible artistic ascent, pictorial evolution and founding encounters, Julien Airalut has grown into a worthy successor within the “lyrical abstraction movement.” He continues to immerse us in his own space and time, where serenity and calm atmospheres reign and are also brought face to face through the chaos of movement.
